Thanks, I'm still searching but honestly now not dying to get one as I once was a few months back. After 2 failed attempts (contracts in hand, cashiers checks issued, FedEx'd overnight, etc, etc...) and going through the process now 2 times at 2 different dealers, I'm a bit unimpressed with these Ford dealerships and the sales staff and just their integrity in general. To be honest if and/or when I do get this GT350R I'm not so excited to have to trust or deal with any of them for any warranty or service issues. Maybe I just haven't found a good dealership, I duno. But I've got a list of roughly 100 that I've at least called if not visited in person and none would I recommend to a friend.

Don't get me wrong. I'm still enamored with the car and I am still open to paying some ADM, roughly 10-15K, to get what I want. Looking for a GT350R White/Blue Stripe with electronics package. And I'm open to ordering.

Sorry for the rant.
I feel you im actually quite annoyed calling dealers, them not calling back, or calling back with nonsense. If my dealer pulls some BS on my order ill tell him to go scratch.

My recent experience in a MO Ford dealer is as follows:

- I found a track pack and emailed the dealer
- They responded in 10 minutes and said the car is sticker and I should come and test drive
- Dealer was 45 minutes away, I had the salesman confirm, re-confirm, and confirm again that the car was indeed sticker and can be test driven. This is all in email. 3 distinct emails to confirm it over and over.
- I go there with my wife and daughter and guess what:

A) The track pack car that they supposedly have was sold a week ago
B) They have a tech pack
C) Tech pack they have is 12k ADM
D) They dont allow test drives

I have had similar experiences. Ford dealers do suck as far as I can tell.

I-D-I-O-T-S.

They are sleezeballs, every dealer, including Porsche are all liars and disgust me.

Two 2017's available in Northern CA.

1) white/blue striped convenience package on the showroom floor
2) open allocation ready to order

Starting ADM is 10k but probably negotiable with cash in hand for a deposit.

PM me if interested.

2015 MY will demand big premium in the future. 2016 and 2017 could be had for msrp or less in a year or so.
I really dont see the 350R going for any less than MSRP and I imagine they will go above MSRP even in the used market. Just too few of them and many eager buyers.

It's really a shame that some dealers can discourage buyers from buying a Car like the Shelby. I guess we as buyers have to just step back and take a deep breath and just be patient that our search will eventually work out. I don't understand the dealer mind set today . Isn't MSRP with $3K to $4K over invoice large enough for them ? It's been almost a year now. Im sure that anyone who has to have one does.

I also had a dealer try to sell me a 350 with 5500 miles on it for MSRP. Not a demo because he wouldn't even let me drive it. No it was a return car because the check was no good. I'm sure there's more to it then that but that's what I was told. Just a complete break down of trust for some of these dealers. Just keep on truckin it'll work out sooner then later.

I've been on hold for over 10 minutes trying to see if service has the oil filter in stock. Geezzz

I believe they make 10% of the MSRP as is, which comes out to be almost $6,000 without any ADM.

But

Greed... Greed... Greed...

It's human nature.

As usual you're making things up and speaking where you don't know the truth.

My GT350 had an MSRP of $57870 and an invoice of $54763.09. That's $3106.91. IF you go and add the holdback of $1670 which was not his margin of discussion (msrp to invoice) it's still $4776.91, which is closer to his $4k than your $6k.

Why are you not banned yet??????

Either way it is still a very nice profit for a car that will not have to sit on the lot at all... My local dealer said no problem at MSRP on a (configured for me) 2017 during as quick conversation at a service visit and then thru a $10k ADM at me when it was time to ink the deal. A day later they told a friend of mine he could configure a 2017 for $5k ADM... Needless to say they have lost all my future business.

Seems like finding a dealer not trying to play games is the old needle in a haystack situation.

Well, he did say "I believe" to start the post, which we all know is a way of letting others to get ready to hear someone talk out of their ass.

One of the dealers I spoke to said the profit margin is 10% before the ADM. That's all I know.

I should be banned for not knowing the invoice price? You are mean. Please watch your manners. What did I do to you?

Elk Grove? I bought it. Best deal I could find in California....400 miles away from me.
Yep! Glad you found your baby. I looked at it briefly when I stopped in there last week to initiate talks on my end... Bet that was the best 400 mile drive home ever? Ear to ear grin?
