May I just proffer one other possibility and that is that there are dealers out there who treat others like they would like to be treated. They perhaps feel that it is not all about the money but how fairly we treat each other first, happier being comfortable rather than rich.
You can honestly say if you owned a dealership and selling F150's , Edges, Focas's and Explorers all day long at invoice or just over, you're not getting an ADM for one of these Gt350's,,,,,, again be honest with yourself

That describes my dealer perfectly. Plus, he only sold his GT 350s to local customers. :thumbsup:

Yep, totally honest. What I do for a living I have done for 30 years at less than half of what others charge nationwide for the same service. Why? Because I realize that people pay their hard earned money and I should not be greedy and take as much as they are willing to pay but only a fair amount so I can live comfortably. Would do the same if I owned a dealership.

If you speak the truth, and I have no reason to doubt you. Good for you! No sarcasm intended. You're a better person than I or most. I am in a family business and understand the "make money when you can". So even though the dealer is a friend of mine, his ADM was fair,,,,,, it's just business sense. I've bought many company vehicles from him at $500 over invoice, guess this is his way of making that up, lol

It appears that there are a couple of people here who don't understand specialty insurance products. With stated value insurance, you could state the value of your car at $100,000, and that's what the insurance company would pay if you totaled it. The downside for the policyholder is that the premiums are much higher, which is, of course, the upside for the insurance company.
Don't confuse "stated value" with "agreed value". There is a big difference.

That is their buying service, similar to trucar. Odly enough trucar lists current prices above MSRP.

My insurance agent emailed me back, they said they base value on current KBB, not purchase price. Hopefully I dont every have to deal with it either way :cheers:

Probably already known, but beware of dealers that advertise their GT350s with full descriptions and original pictures on multiple websites at MSRP. You would think that if it's on ONE website at MSRP, OK, maybe an error especially if the price has ADM on the dealer website. I am NOT talking about cars that get posted automatically that have stock photos. Obviously these cars are either in transit or are just auto-imported into the database once the dealer receives stock.

Multiple Ford dealers think it's cool to advertise the car everywhere at MSRP only to smack them with a $10,000 ADM after you inquire. Looking at you Emerling Ford..
