If you are insinuating that people in Amazon warehouses do not work then you are sadly mistaken. My son in law worked at one in NJ and the workers are literally slaves. Yes, the pay and benefits are good if you survive. The turnover rate is insane because many people just cannot work at the levels they expect on a constant basis. Read up on Amazon labor, it's really shocking in the 21st century.

Oh, and by the way, my son in law was a senior manager and they were treated like crap as well.

I'm in the same boat. Same with Walmart and some others that I'm not exactly in love with. But at the end of the day my wallet talks louder than my brain. What I find interesting is that my daughter and son in law continue to buy from them as well.

I think you misunderstood his fix, he was changing interchangeable cog easily discarded item to real human being with feelings a life and loved ones.

As an older dude I can remember when companies had loyalty to their employees. Well things have come full circle. Every one is hiring and no one wants to go back to work. Some stores here in Jersey still haven’t reopened from the Covid. Simply can’t find enough warm bodies to keep a place running.
