Thought you might like to see this, my first ever autocross event in the 15 Mustang GT Vert. (Automagic, in track mode and shifter in S)

Naturally it was a nice dry day until time for my run, but at least I was on the inside of the car and not working.

First run was SLOOOOOW, 67 seconds, but was me getting used to the car (and the rain / traction) I felt that I was getting a lot faster but the scoring sign went out and I have no idea what my other times are yet.

I realize this is not the 'best' vehicle for AutoX but it is what I have and man SO much fun! Looking forward to playing this year, already signed up for the next event in a few weeks.

Slowest in FS class (5 out of 5) but I know for sure the top 3 were all dry runs, the 4th guy ahead of me not sure but I think so. I guess that is why on a normal race day everyone is in the same heats, we all would have been in the rain. (They were all BMWers just FYI)

Have you done anything to prep your car?

Not so far, I had brought some air with me to play with the PSI, but when the rain hit I just stayed inside the car nice and dry instead! I am looking at a local set of 19x9 wheels with 255s from 2015 Mustang and would eventually put 275s on those for my race tires. (Mine are 18x8 with 235s)
