I have to say that Bama support has been on a steady decline. Response time, updates and quality of tune is currently terrible.

I had one of the first S550s and bought the JLT CAI and Bama tunes within a month.
The base 93-O race tune was terrific.
Then I asked for a 94-O race tune (since that's all I put in). Performance declined and I went back to 93-O race.
Got a cat-back and asked for new tune. Performance decline.
Went full turbo-back. Another decline.

It seems that every tune I've received since the first has been worse than the base 93-O.
After a couple attempts to have someone work with me on this and no response I've given up. Even reached out to Lund but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

To end on a positive, Alex from AM has been terrific but he can only do so much.
have you even tried to call in and ask to speak to their lead calibrator about your issues, or do you just send emails? Kinda sounds like when you said "After a couple attempts to have someone work with me on this and no response I've given up.", you haven't tried calling.

I had tried three different tunes before trying Bama. I put in the 93 O race tune and the car ran fantastic! Very happy with it. The hp/tq in my sig was with the Bama tune.
Always looking for more I recently tried a Lund tune. Out of the box it was a drop from my Bama tune, flat spots - hi idle - cold start. Lund contacted me right away and asked for some data logging to get things right. My job hasn't allowed me the time to do this so I switched back to the Bama tune and all is well again. Once I get time I plan on working with Lund to dial the car in. From all I have heard they are great and I want to get the max out of my car I can get, BUT, I cannot say anything but good things about the turn around, quality of tune, and customer service Bama has provided me - top notch!

On another note on the quote above - when going from tune to tune, did you return car back to stock first or just over write the tune on there? I have heard (and myth it may be) to first return to stock before loading a new tune on the PCM. I've always done this and had no issues.
