I haven't been to a dragstrip since I had my 2001 GT just out of high school. Gosh I used to spend a lot of the time at the track. I probably couldn't remember how to make a pass nowadays.

I've seen too many street cars get put into walls, so I quit my drag strip trips a long time ago. I'd be slower than a grandma on a road course for fear of balling the car up but would be fun. I'd like to go to Fords Driving School so I could drive a GT and not worry about beating the shit out of my car.

I'm curious if these are, or close to an exact copy of the track pack spoiler. I know a lot of guys are interested for aesthetics alone, but since I plan to track my car, I want to make sure I'm not messing up the hard work Ford did in the wind tunnel.

Why couldn't Ford just let us order a 350 track pack car with electronics pack like the R!:frusty:

I think it's pretty damn close, at least close enough that whatever benefits you're seeing from the R Track Pack spoiler you'll probably get from this. I agree I don't know why they make you choose Track or Tech and can't have both.

I have been thinking that the RTR lights may not look good with twin skinny stripes.. The picture you did looks great, but would be a total re-imaging of my car.

Can you do an RTR grill and cervini hood on one of these pictures?

I do acknowledge that I may have to change my stripes with that hood-and may not go that direction-but I haven't seen a cervini with stripes.

Well yeah.... it's more than double the power and the interstate is the worst place to challenge one. From a dig, it might get interesting since they have 275's on the back and may never hook up. Unless I get whippled I'll just wave at them on the interstate lol

I just wanted to hear it more than anything and just wanting to see him blow by me. I knew I would be no where close to him, don't see cars like that all the time in Spring Hill so I wanted to take advantage of it!

I haven't seen any pics. What does it look like? I'm in the minority, but I really like the pedestal style spoilers like the OEM GT/CS. I think those would look great in body color. I'm not willing to drill holes in my deck lid, though....so I'll probably never do a spoiler.
