That's a good thing. I HATE painting. Told my daughter this is the last time this happens. We just painted it two years ago when we moved in.

Time for everyone to give their opinion on something.

The more I look at things to put on my car the more I don't think I'm going to do stripes. I have been thinking about wrapping the roof in black vinyl. I will probably paint the calipers red and once I go to aftermarket wheels they will probably be black.

So with all of that being said I have been thinking about either wrapping my mirrors in black or in red. I think if they were red the calipers would offset it pretty well. Do you think red is too extreme for that look?

When we bought our current house August of last year, I decided I wanted to paint everything. All the rooms, closets, ceilings, baseboards, moulding, even the kitchen cabinets. I took a week off work after we closed thinking I could get all that fine before we moved in. A year and a half later I still have 2 rooms and bathroom to finish.

I HATE painting.

Im not a fan of stripes on these cars. The nose is already a mile long as it is....stripes seem to make it look even longer. I think the black roof would look killer on the blue with black wheels and dark tint. Red calipers would look nice, too. IMO, red mirrors would be too much, though. Good thing about wrapping is you could always peel it off if you don't like it, though.

From a design standpoint, I would avoid too much red on blue. Too superman'ish

We had almost our whole house painted before we moved in except the finished basement part and the two bedrooms upstairs. I painted one of them for my wife to use as her office. Well, nothing else has been done.

You know I'm a fan of the vinyl black roof.

I looked every where within 500 miles of here before I bought my car. Couldn't find anything I was willing to settle for so I went ahead and ordered.

Dad is at a dealer in Clarksville this morning getting a recall done in their focus, he sent me a picture of a car exactly like mine. Blue base model perf pack GT with recaros. This one also has a black roof and black wheels, but still. Id have jumped on it if Id have found it a couple months ago. Oh well, at least I ended up with my name on the window sticker of my car.

You can always cancel and buy it. That's what I ended up doing, mainly because my car was stuck in limbo and there was some issue nobody was being transparent about and I wasn't comfortable with it. So I cancelled my order after it was already supposedly built and bought a ground stock up north at another dealer. I worked at Jenkins & Wynne in Clarksville in college and still have a good friend there if you need me to do anything.
