Lance, IMO, you ordered that specific car for a reason. If you don't wait for it, you could possibly second guess that decision for a long time. Plus winter is starting to show up here. Mine hasn't been out of the garage in over a month.

True, but some of that reasoning may no longer be a factor here. Maybe it's not that he didn't want 401a or premier when the original order was placed, but just that he couldn't justify the additional cost of those options into his budget. Now that he's secured A-plan those options might seem a bit more appealing.

So now it's what do I want more? The interior color that I really want... Or a more premium spec car?

First world problems...

That is it exactly. It was easier to pass a 38k car with what I ordered but would have been crazy to push a 40k car. Now that 40k car comes down to 34k with everything added. The original comes to 32k, so the 2k difference is still valid but not as over bearing as it once was. I need to go sit in each and see if it is something I can really tell a difference on.

Hell-if you were settling on the first go around, and the ceramic was your "consolation" prize, that changes the entire discussion...

Being that a consolation prize doesn't make the EXACT car you wanted, now I have to say that you should exploit the A-plan-as long as you are not settling on what you want!

I think that if it was the standard black interior I would say no for sure, but since this is the premier AND has 401a.....I think it makes a difference. And I don't feel that I am settling just because I want the car now....I have waited this long so what is 3-4 more weeks.

My wife just thinks I am turning around and putting the money I am saving back into the car, and I see exactly what she is saying because it does look that way. Some one do the math on 60 months and $2k. Im in Memphis trying to get out of here before snow hits.

Very true Nick....but that isn't how Jen works :) Jen is all about the final #. Now in all honesty if I tell her that I want the one in Clarksville....she will let me get it. But she feels like everything she has gone through in the past 2 months have been in vain if I do that.

I am sure 2k spread out over 60 months is like $10 per month :)

Assuming a 2% interest rate $2k over 60mos is $35/ month

Ask yourself this.... If both cars were sitting side by side right now and you could have either one....which one would you pick? There's your answer IMO.

Hope everyone stays safe in the winter weather today. Hopefully no one has to go out on the roads.

I'll probably go out and ride Polaris Rzrs today in the snow. It will be a ton of fun, not sure if you guys are familiar with them. How much snow have you gotten so far Rosa?

Looks fun! We don't have that much here in Spring Hill, but it's coming down good so hopefully we get a good amount. Stay warm and safe! Glad you were able to make it home before all this hit.
