I'm a little crushed today guys :( Wife went to the dealer to talk trade-ins and she told me that it is looking like almost March before the car will be here. She told me if I wanted the black interior I could get one today. Of course I am waiting it out but this just sucks.

Only positives I have are:
A. I am working on this A plan discount, and it looks like it is going to work as long as a few of my friends come through.
B. The longer I keep from having to drive in the colder weather the more I don't have to worry about the P Zero's being an issue.

This just sucks.

I think she may be telling the truth based on the fact that if she was lying, she probably wouldn't have said "if you want the black interior you could get one today". Unless of course she knew that there was no way you would go for the black interior. Still though, would've been a risk on her part to ruin the surprise.

I found a couple 401a's but no 400's. Hopefully soon. Believe me I know the anxiety of waiting with little to no info. It's an old cliche but good things come to those who wait...eventually.

I would be fine with the 401, but everyone I found had the front license plate bracket.

Good luck with your car man! I know it can be anxious waiting for it, but like someone else said..... Good things come to those who wait. You will be so happy you waited so you can get the exact car that you want!

After talking with Jen tonight I told her I am going to look into some stuff myself. I told her that Sherman told me last month that it had a VIN already but now he is saying that it doesn't and didn't give her an invoice or anything. Not saying there is any lying going on here but I am now on the case.

I have sent a PM to Deysha with my order # to get some low down info.

Yeah man, definitely look into it. There's no reason there shouldn't be at least some scheduled build date by now and a VIN or something. When the car I ordered got held up. I noped out of it. Screw waiting, if you find the car you want, get it. Don't settle for anything but if you can find it, no reason in waiting. I'm down for another road trip to pick up a car out of state if you need a tow vehicle.

Conversation topic: Is the Performance Pack worth the wait?

I know I am getting anxious about this now but is the PP worth it? I can find it with the Foundry 20's on it in the right color, right interior and right package.

This is a DD. I probably won't take it to the track. So are the Brembo's, bigger radiator and gearing worth it? I feel like most of the other items are moot since I would probably change them out.

Am I just getting pissed that I can't find what I want and just want the car here now?

If my car were a daily, Id have no problem skipping the PP. I don't *need *the PP either, but I ordered my car with a bare-bones performance theme (300A with PP and Recaros) , and the PP fits what I wanted for the car.

The brembos are nice to look at but realistically you won't notice the advantage on the street. As far as gearing, the 3.7 is almost too short for the MT82 anyway. A car with factory 20s and 3.55 gear would be nice IMO.

All of this being said, if you want the PP....do yourself a favor and wait for it

I think you get so much more with the performance pack. It's a great value. The 6 pots are worth it to me on the street because I have cooked a set of brakes on the Dragon before. I want to be able to go do drives like that without having to worry about the brakes not being able to cool themselves off. I think unless you plan on going boost, the 3.73's are nice. Also, I think the only way you get the Torsen rear end is with the PP. This car also produces a lot of heat under the hood. Even with the larger radiator I was seeing over 200 degrees until I swapped out my thermostat. I wouldn't pass on the PP. I think that's a must have IMO.

I know I know. I am just getting jumpy so I am venting at the same time. I am not going to steer away from my initial order because I think that combo will be killer, but that is not going to discourage me from looking for another one. Those damn from license plate brackets are the killer.

The premier trim is an absolute bitch to find ground stock. That was what I kept running into trying to locate a car when my order was held up. Keep in mind if you find one somewhere else, that dealer probably won't dealer trade so you'll just have to totally cancel your order with Two Rivers and buy from whatever dealer you find the car at. I think I searched within a 1000 mile radius every day until I found the car I wanted. There were only 2. Only one had the redline interior.
