Correct, I live in Detroit and do not know anyone who owns a Camaro. I don't know anyone who would want to...

It is more for the :mullet: crowd, who wants to own a transformer Yo!

Driver's car? Mustang? Since when?

There are variants which can be considered driver's cars. The BOSS 302, GT350/R, but not the GT. Never has been a driver's car. You would even be stretching to call it a sports car. Hell, I drive one and I know it's not a drivers car.
You drive a S197.. lil different. GT is one hell of a pony/sports car.

That because they are all out by me. I see three pretty consistently everyday to and from work, not including the ass load of MPlates. I generally see a ZL1 or ZL1 1LE about three times a week.

It's probably an easy 2.5 to 1 ratio of Alpha Camaros to S550's out by me. Did see what I though was an 18' PP2 though about 2 months back, and I have been seeing alot of aluminum Navigators and Expeditions.

Net profit vs. Gross margin... Not agreeing that GM could make money at under 20k but the incremental cost to produce and sell a free more units to amortize factory and development costs are likely low.

I don't claim to be an insider for Chevy, but as a publicly traded company, their financial details are not all that difficult to decode. Actually, it's much hard for a non-publically traded company to hide financials.

If you can provide some evidence otherwise of Chevy's profit margin OR the fact that a company could not survive on a 6-7% profit margin, please let me know. ExxonMobil, for example, is the most profitable company in the world and operates on a 6% margin. https://ycharts.com/companies/XOM/profit_margin
