Haha if only I'd read your link! I'm still skeptical, seems too good to be true given the current situation. They could've easily added sync 3 to all aus deliveries

I won't be upset if I don't get Sync3 (estimated build July 16). I think it looks terrible, like windows 95 or something.

Besides, I was really looking forward to adding cool wallpapers on my screen. Which you can't do with Sync3.

If it's any consolation, remember you purchased your car at least $2,500 cheaper because you were one of the early ones.

100% sync 3 would be worth $2500 to me. It's a massive upgrade and considering I'll have this car for at least 6 years, I do wish I was getting it. Oh well. I've seen those rumours of a potential upgrade in the future.

Apple car play or Android whatever with whitegoods touchscreen icons isn't for me, so I'm more than happy without and $2,500 in my pocket. That's not to mention any other price rises that may or may not occur.

Well, this is still the only place I can find talking about a Sync2 to Sync3 upgrade and it's currently $2637AUD. Still not released yet though, but it's promising to see that it may be possible in the future and that it's likely Ford are just not interested in wasting time on customers who've already given them money for a car.
