Sync 3 European maps

Is it possible?

Have an imported stang in the UK and would love to get Nav to work. Yes Apple CarPlay should help, but it's not in Sync 3 yet.

As of now I do not think you will be able to do anything... You will have to wait for map updates to be released.. also I am not sure when they are if they will let you install them.. the maps are stored internally now on the unit.. no more swapping SD Cards..

I wish I had better info but there are some real unknowns right now with this system and I think Ford is doing a terrible job with providing any guidance.. or updates..

I have someone I can ask.. if I get an answer I will let you know..

Im using android auto for my maps. It better than re-flashing the head unit and changing the maps.

I talked to the Ford Sync folks (via online chat) and got run into a huge circle. Don't think we can get them, but planning to ask the dealer next week.

In the meantime, Apple Car Play is Sync 3 with the latest update. I would still prefer to use the internal nav system though and save my cellular data use for other things.
