Not possible, but you can swap to Sync 3 to gain that ability.

I paid $500 for the entire kit to do it on my 2015 Platinum F150. That was non-nav though. The kit with the nav was only $100 more so $600.

I just upgraded my 2015 to sync 3. There are kits all over amazon for around $700. I used this one on amazon. You give them your VIN in a message chat before they ship it out and usually gets to your house in under 6 days straight from china. Came with everything I needed and it was quick to swap out. Everything is plug and play

Just you need a wireless dongle if you want wireless carplay. It works fine with a wire

How was the instructions? Anything to be looking out for?

The instructions were fine from what I remember. The main thing I had an issue with was the hub they provided doesn't work with the front USB port under the start button.

Make sure you know how to send a message to the seller before buying, because after you buy it you need to send them your VIN so everything works.

Maybe see that the screen is aligned correctly before you put the whole dash back together. There are 4 bolts holding the screen on, and you can loosen them and adjust the screen a tiny bit. The first time I did it, my screen was a tiny bit too high
