Sync 2 upgrade to 3.10?

PS - oddly enough, the confirmation of successful install still calls it version 3.08, even though in system information it is now clearly 3.10

Somebody else said that on one of the Ford forums. Checked my Mondeo and it says ver 3.62 so clearly not a service item.

Is that 3.62 for Sync 2? I though that 3.10 was the last update (and not ever one sold originally in the cars, as Sync 3 had taken over by mid-2016 (build date) for all cars, including UK Mustangs (other models even earlier) .

I might have misread that. Maybe 3.06; it's a Dec 2014 car. I'll have to check again. Haven't looked at the Mustang yet.

I've downloaded this onto a flash drive and reformated, no thrat of viruses, it's just a mirror site to downloading stuff off.

Haven't plugged into car yet, as have had to sign will documentation and business documentation for family and neighbour.

Good question: open Disk Utility and reformat ('erase') your USB drive as FAT32. If that option isn't available (new Macs might only have exFAT and MS-DOS FAT as options), then you'll have to reformat it on a PC. But then you'll still be able to use it on your Mac (i.e., download files to the Mac and copy to USB drive)

Not sure what you lot are on about, the cars came with v3.7 in 2015, December 2015 i updated to v3.8 ... why are you going back to 3.10, or are we saying 3.10 is a step above 3.8? If so its not on SyncMyRide (owner.ford.com) so wont be touching it.

Yes, it's 3.10 up from 3.08 (not 3.8) or 3.07 (3.7)

Thought as much, it's one of my tasks to do tonight, I've had too much car stuff on... I also have a certain someones engine bay to paint which I need to start asap :lol:

Latest and greatest and all that.

Only real difference with Sync comes when you swap the nav cards... for example F5 doesn't have the M42 to M1 overpass and directs you incorrectly, whereas F6 has this
