Sticking with 3.73's for now. Only downside I've seen is needing 5th gear at the track, but not a big deal.

Been hearing and seeing this debated, Curious what is the biggest benifit ?
I believe the biggest benefits are not have to shift to 5th gear at the track and being able to hook in 1st and 2nd gear. I've been considering the switch to 3.31 but haven't done so yet...

Too many variables to comment. Gears are torque multipliers.

When I was supercharged at 750rwhp 3.73s were great with M&H 325/40s.

When the car was turboed making 1100+ the 3.73s with the same tires were uncontrollable. It looked cool but breaking the tires loose at 90+ mph is damn scary at times.

My tire vendor loved my 3:73s. Since switching to 3:31s he and I don't talk as much. ;)
