Hey all,

Haven't even got my mustang yet but am thinking of getting springs. Lots of people seem to be upgrading shocks when they do springs - but if I kept the oem shocks, will the Swifts or Eibachs work better? I prefer the linear rate of the Swifts, but don't want the strut not to be able to keep up.

Thanks

Either way you’re gonna have a bad time putting a new spring on a base model strut. I know Swift makes some of the best springs in the world. They aren’t popular here on USDM vehicles but are incredibly popular in JDM applications.

Hiya,

Yeah most of my cars have been imports. I haven't run swifts previously but have always wanted to. Are the non-PP struts just a no go for lowering springs?

Thanks

I've had the Swifts and recommend them. I've been in cars with the Pro Kit on base shocks and it was a rough ride from time to time. Both have a desirable drop.
