Has anyone done this? Still a good amount of power gains? Looking to do SW longtubes connected to factory Cat-mid pipe to an Off road X-pipe then stock catback. Id like to keep it fairly quiet but I don't want to invest in headers if there isn't going to be at least 20whp gain. The SW long tubes are $600 shipped

If you have a similar combo I'd like to hear how it sounds.

The drivers side cat is part of the manifold. you would have to do some work to cut it off and make it work with after market headers. not worth it imo

Long tube headers eliminate the cats. Not sure what you mean by keeping the stock cats. Do you mean the stock resonator?

Long tube headers eliminate the stock cats. You would need to find shorty headers, and then cut the stock cat off the drivers side manifold and weld a flange back on to bolt it up.

See pic below

This pic should clear things up for you a little better.

Also, removing the stock cats is where the majority of the power comes from. Not worth the work if you're going to leave the stock cats.

Ehh I think I'll just go with the long tubes and off road mid pipe. Now who is having good deals on Stainless works!
