Just left the dealership thirty minutes ago. I went to change my order from Race Red to Triple Yellow. Their system shot back a response "Order Locked - SVS Commit Run." The dealer submitted the change but the system still showed red.

Anyone know what this means?

Priority 10. Retail Order. X Plan. Ordered 5/26

Locked is the step before bucked, it means it will be made shortly

Hey, Red is still the best color on a mustang. Don't be sad! Ugh, at least yours is getting built...... :brokenheart:

Race red is an amazing color. Looks pretty stunning in person. No person who gets one ever gets second thoughts when they see it. Trust me. It is very flashy though. Expect everyone to keep stopping you and asking about your car.

Still no VIN or build date though...?

Is this just a COTUS thing? I've contacted Tricia hoping she can help!

The SVS Commit is what is odd. Order Locked happens when you are locked for production, about a week out. But if you haven't been scheduled yet, then it may be a programing error. Do you have a screen shot of what you saw? was it SVs_commit or something like that. I haven't a foggy clue what programming language CONCEPTs uses, but I believe a SV=scalar value is used in perl and it may be trying to sequence something. Robinson02 is a computer expert, feel free to jump in.

I'll be back by Monday to see what the dealership finds out. I'll also be curious to see what Tricia says. Was hoping some of the other dealer/computer people could chime in. :)

Just left the dealership (I had some free time) and was able to change my order from Race Red to Triple Yellow. The glitch seemed to be a case of the PICNIC virus (problem in chair, not in computer), or the classic I D ten T error.

From the sales manager: Production begins Monday on dealer stock, Job 1. Retail orders for Job 1 begin production 9/9. It's reasonable to expect to see a VIN/Build Date for us retail guys by the end of the month. Delivery will be around 4 weeks after the build date. This is all assuming, of course, that there's no hiccups with the new line.

That would be good news for us retail order guys. If I get lucky mine could be scheduled mid September, built late September or early October, and maybe delivered at the beginning of November. I could get lucky and get a month of driving in before it starts snowing. (I hope)
