Would these fit on the front for a squared setup? Offset seems a little extreme no?

Yes these will fit up front. This is a popular setup for track guys to maximize tire size (eg 305 square) while being able to rotate wheels.

You will need a 20mm or 25mm spacer setup up front.
To give you an idea of fit, with 20mm, the fronts would sit in the same position relative to the fender as a stock PP2 front wheel.
