Suspension Updates

Our new 2016 Oxford White Mustang GT has been a fun build so far. We have been putting some great products in this build, we have mostly been working with suspension parts right now and every part we put on has been phenomenal. Creating this thread in order to share our experience with each suspension mod we add to the build. Our first mod for suspension was Eibach Sportline springs and Steeda Sway bars. Those 2 mods alone really improved the ride of the car the sway bars really helped reduce body roll and turning felt so much better. Later the Springs were upgraded to BC Racing BR type Coil-overs, of course the benefit of coil-overs is the adjustable ride height and with the bc racing coil-overs you can also adjust the dampening. Ride quality felt great and the car is low to the ground but the quality of the ride feels amazing, I would say better than just the springs. Our latest upgrades were Steeda parts: adjustable differential bushing insert system, Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing, and Steeda IRS Subframe Alignment kit. Couldn't be happier with the outcome of these. Install was easy and straight forward. After the install I took it out for a spin to see if there is a difference and there was a noticeable difference during acceleration. Car was more planted on the ground and wheel hop was definitely reduced. Best of all there is no noise, ride is quiet and the ride is still comfortable. For the adjustable bushing inserts I went with the red street bushings since this car is a daily. Make sure to hit up [MENTION=10893]David@Steeda[/MENTION] for any Steeda parts you may need. Over the weekend I installed the Steeda Vertical Links and Steeda IRS Subframe support brace. What a difference these upgrades made. Definitely felt more solid and planted to the ground

This car is a DD car. It still drives great after all the suspension mods. The Vertical links and Support brace will decrease wheel hop and it will also improve handling. Do you have any suspension parts on the car now?

Not at this point, looking at the front subframe brace just not sure what brand. Steeda and BMR are both good products.

Well if you do not have any suspension mods at the moment. I would recommend some springs and sway bars for handling purposes. The IRS kit is great to stop the hop and definitely improves the handling but the upgrade that really improved handling the most for me was lowering the car and installing the sway bars.

I'm not looking to lower the ride height. Better springs, bars and shocks will help.

I also have a 2016 OW GT/PP (bought 2-18-16)

I have installed all those Steeda parts as well except the sway bars and Velgen wheels, still on the original PP wheels.

I drive mine for work averaging between 75-100 miles a day and I love all the Steeda parts I have installed, it has made the car handle so much better...Now reading this I want the sway bars even more.. ahahahahaha

You MOST definitely want those sways. the few (sways springs shocks & struts) form steeda & mine is on rails. People say that all the time on these forums (its so true)
