I have a 2015 ecoboost AT, lund tune, catless dp, gibson exhaust, kompact dual port BOV, and MAP CAI.

Yesterday, I took off my front bumer to install a MAP Race Intercooler with mishimoto hot side charge pipes. After I got everything installed, I was testing it out and I get to about 13 lbs of boost and I hear a loud hissing sound from my front end. I no longer make more boost than the 13 lbs. I suspected it was a boost leak and checked all the clamps coming from the throttle body to the intercooler, then from the intercooler to the hot side charge pipe. From the hot side charge pipe I checked the BOV and the connection to the turbo. All the connections seem snug. I checked on my NGauge to see if I was throwing any DTCs and nothing came up.

Any thoughts? Any suggestions?

Google smoke test for turbos. I think Cobb has information on this on their web page too. Most likely although the clamps are tight, there is a gap somewhere.

considering you just installed the intercooler its very likely you didnt tighten everything up properly.. i installed mishimoto intercooler, only to realize i was only boosting at 12 psi.. went back under the bumper and tightened everything ..

If everything is installed properly and tight, then take a good look at the rubber couplers for cuts and damage. Hard to see some times, you have to pinch, tug, roll it in between your fingers to see little cuts.

Nope, depends on the engine load, RPM, gear. I can hit full boost at 3/4 throttle.

Also check the map sensor connection. Maybe the o-ring got twisted/bent or fell off, it could also be loose.

In my case the tube that connects the oil separator and the intake manifold, popped twice and had this issue!
But check all the connections

If you hear more rushing noise up front I would wager you need to check your hoses at the IC specifically, make sure they are seated all the way past the flare on the inlet and outlet and bottom them out and make sure the clamps are like 1/2 up from the end. Tighten them only enough so you cannot twist or pull the hose (basically the camp would look flush with the host but not like its crushing it.)

Also and old school technique when installing new hoses etc, spray the inside of the hose ends with hair spray, it makes them slip on super easy, and super grippy when they are clamped and dry. (of course also makes them a pain to take off but it works)

The connection on the base of the hot side intercooler was not past the flare. It didn't look like any gaps but it is fixed now!

That's exactly where a smoke test would have spotted the problem quickly. All fasteners seem tight from visual inspection, it looks like all pipes are connected well. Then you find out one is at an angle and not on all the way or one cracked and with no pressure looks fine. A smoke test spots those leaks quick.
