Supercharger Installation

Just bought a new 2015 GT auto. I am new to Mustang and to superchargers but am sold on the Whipple systems.

I am not a tech and will need help with the installation. Does anyone know and recommend someone in the Texas area that can help?

I'm in the Fort Worth area. Certified ford tech. Installed a whipple on my lightning and a roush tvs on my s550 I could lind a hand if needed. Also have a buddy that has a speed shop that specifically does these swaps. The instructions that come with the whipple are pretty straight forward though.

I am planning to order the kit next week. Should I speak with your friend that owns the speed shop before or contact him for an appointment?

Would you say a guy who can follow instructions, but who has limited vehicle wrenching experience could do the install in his garage? Any special tools needed?

As long as you have jack stands or a way of raising the vehicle you should be fine. Long extensions, sockets and wrenches should be fine. Power tools should save you plenty of time. Pliers for hose clamps and a de pin tool should be good.
Depends all on what you have to work with though.
