Super speeder law - GA

I am an Indiana resident but I got pulled over for speeding in Georgia. Does anyone have any idea if the super speeder law is passed on as reckless driving for out of state drivers? A lawyer I talked to said so but it is not consistent with what I read online. Any insight would be helpful.

Dont know about the reckless driving part but those tickets suck either way. My girlfriend got one and it cost her $500 between the initial ticket and the second fee she got later in the mail.

This relatively new law is intended to up the penalty for speeding (over 80, I think). I do not know if they treat out of staters differently. I would assume not, but I am not a lawyer (just a fine payer...it just a line item in my budget )
