No BAP only. VMP and the local shop said if we stay under 11 psi were fine.

Doesn't seem to match what I have read. Corn and more boost = fuel system.

Interested in your results though, as I'm going to Boostworks on Friday for a similar upgrade!!

I am super excited. He did a 2015 a few weeks ago it put down 696. He is using hp tuners. I will have 3 tunes. E85, 93, fuel pump to pump out the fuel. This is reminecent of the ole grand national dAys. Fuel pump jumper wire to pump the fuel out dump in 7 gallons of 112, bump boost up 2-4 lbs and put the race chip in the ecm the car would pick up a full second and about 9-11 mph

I was gonna guess 690......

I am hoping to be right around this as well. 700 would be great, of course! May have to do 75mm to get there.

A bap and e85 is sketchy business. Remember it requires about 30% more fuel than gas. So at your current power level you would be needing 750 whp worth of fuel if on e85. That's why most won't tune it without a fuel return system. Also consider baps shorten the lifespan on your fuel pump especially ones that are on all the time. You spend 35k on a car, 6k+ on boost but won't spend 1k on fuel?

I look at it like this. If the top tuners in the business, namely Lund and Palm Beach won't tune without a return fuel system, then that tells me all I need to know.......

The normal "local tuner" may tune 3 or 4 Mustangs a year. These guys are tuning hundreds...

I appreciate the input, lidio Iacobelli has been in business since 1990. He has a great reputation and is well known in the mustang community. Hot Rod magazine did an article on him and his shop in June of 2016 titled Do You Know Lidio Iacobelli. He will only do what is proven and works. VMP informed me you can run a BAP Only with an 82 mm pulley and your safe. Again my intent is not to start a debate and I appreciate the input so what do u think it will put down?

^^^THIS^^^ :amen: Because of the volume of fuel needed the BAPs are a hand grenade with the pin falling out. The stock fuel pump is over whelmed. If you insist on running a BAP just make sure you have $$$ in the bank. Normally guys do this because they cannot afford a return style fuel system. My advice is do not go E85 until you can afford to do it correctly. I did. Contact Beefcake best price.

They said 82 was safe. Why are you going 79?
