A lot of good info here! Thanks for all the replys! I've been doing some reading as well! Called a few other shops about 2-3 hrs away. They had a lot of good info and do mostly exotics and higher end vehicles. Their prices were double my local shops and instead of needing the car for 3-4 days they were wanting it for 2-3 weeks. Not necessarily a bad thing as you pay for quality and experience, but was hoping for similar pricing and time frame.
Most reputable places will need at least 5 days to do a full-car PPF.

Go Suntek

I have had Xpel, Suntek, 3m Pro. It's more about having a Great installer.

Also a Brand new PPF Suntek film just came out a few weeks ago I would look into that.

It's called SunTek Reaction Film.
I will look into the new film. What concerns me with the suntek guy, he says he doesn't wrap edges bc it's too difficult with their product. And wrapping edges is not optimal and won't allow film to work correctly.

Which after speaking with a few people on here and a shop that's several states away but very reputable, I found this simply isnt true and not to discredit him but big red flag and was advised to stay away!

So suntek may be off the table. All the shops ive found within a day's drive use xpel or stek!

I'd pass on the Suntek guy honestly. Just sounds like he doesn't want to put in the work to wrap the edges. STEK is good as well. Any good installer should be able to work with any of the top films (XPEL, STEK, Suntek).

Here is a video of that new Suntek film on a GT500.

I agree with the others and pass on the Suntek guy. Any good reputable installer can wrap edges and minimize lines as much as possible.

I have my hellcat charger, Camaro ZL1 1LE, and GT500 all wrapped in Xpel. With their Fusion ceramic coat I have no complaints at all. Although I would have liked to try that new Suntek Reaction PPF, maybe next car lolll.
