Bumping this thread with winter approaching. I'm considering leaving the newish Conti ECS-2's on the car, which will be stored in my attached garage this winter. The temp in the garage during winter hovers around 40F, +/- 5. Occasionally during the coldest snaps it might dip to 30F for a few days. I'd raise the pressure to 45PSI before storage and have the tires sitting on thin OSB and carpet. The car wouldn't be moved at all until spring.

Has anyone done the same with good or bad results?

You'll be fine. No need to put extra air in them or park on carpet.

I run drag radials for the summer and once it gets to be out of the 70's for the high temps (in about 2 weeks?) I put my ECS's back on for my "fall tires" and leave them on in the garage over winter here in Michigan. I don't drive the car in the winter. And I take the wheels with the drag radials on them into the basement.

it will creep to negative single digits a few times over the winter where I am.

Thanks for the feedback. That's good info.
