I'm much the same. My mods will be largely cosmetic.

Windows tinted as far as possible front sides, with matching rears (don't like full blackout). Tints for whatever lights I can legally do. Black Ponies and 5.0's. Black wheel nuts (saw this somewhere). Black tips for exhaust if poss.

I may lower it though again purely for cosmetic reasons.

Maybe some black stripes. Will see how it goes when the car arrives.

Can you see a theme here? :)
You can even tint the headlights as the kits available on American muscle still allow legal light projection distances. (Looks awesome too) black badges are coming as soon as I find a good gloss black set I like. American muscle has black lugs/locks (mine come in Thursday installing Friday. A couple catback systems have black tips. My FRPP sport is one such. Car Looks great blacked out you will be very happy.

Please tell me you are joking with your rounding scheme...
I assume you are but recently I have seen some pretty stupid stuff on these forums.
It depends if you are reducing the decimals or just chopping them off entirely. Reducing it one by one gives 5.0, which is what I assume Ford did - hence why I wrote it like that.

I wouldn't be surprised TBH. Nissan sell a 1.5L Diesel that's actually way below that and closer to 1.4. But marketing so whatever.

From the Ford Spec page on the Coyote:
302 cu. in/ 4,951 cc So it's a 4.951. I wonder if I could get the badge made for the mustang??
But 4,951 is 302.128557 cu in???

BAH WHATVER

Its a 5 Litre V8 that goes Vroom Vroom - end of story XD

Yeah, that's kinda the look i'm after
I've read on another forum (not Mustang, lesser mortals) that headlight tinting is a no-no in the UK. I am gonna research this further however.
Would love to see more pics after your badges and lug nuts are done.

Its a yes-yes with a giant asterisk and a disclaimer.

You are allowed it on the front, but it must not be a colour that interferes with the natural colour of the lights that may confuse people, and it must let a certain amount of light through measured in Lumens.

Smoked is perfectly fine and I see it often.

False do the math and it comes out to 4.94889 which technically rounds to 4.9 not 5.0. That being said I love this engine, 5.0 sounds much better and so glad I have a V8.
Wrong..Sorry not Sorry

"The original 5.0 V8 displaced 302 cubic inches, or 4.948 liters. If you apply standard rounding rules, it's a 4.9-liter engine--not 5.0--so Ford took some liberties when it named the old engine. Fudging the numbers is no longer needed, however, because the 2011 engine has a bore of 92.2 millimeters and a stroke of 92.7--measurements that work out to 4.951 liters."

So I have just had the best news a working man could ask for, a 5% pay rise effective immediately! :headbang:

Of course, the very first thing that came to my mind was "oh, I wonder what little extras I can put on the new Mustang when it arrives in April"

I was just about able to afford the Mustang as is on my previous wage, but this increase means I can now afford a few little tweaks to make it more personal (it also helps with the fuel costs - because V8 and $6.50 a gallon :D )

I'm just looking at cosmetic enhancements right now. This is the first high performance rear wheel drive car I've ever owned (not the first I've driven, however), and I'd rather keep the performance mods off for fear of ending up on upside down on the roof.

This is the car I'm getting:

UK Spec Right Hand Drive (Premium + Performance Packs as standard) in black with a black interior.

Any suggestions for little cosmetic tweaks?

I was thinking a blade spoiler like this, maybe in Matte black to go with the metallic black bodywork.

I was also looking at some BOSS style side stripes. Though, it wouldn't say "BOSS" of course, why pretend I have something I don't? It'd just say "302", the V8's displacement in Cubic Inches.

Boss-302-S550-Mustang.webp

Not sure what colour, however. Not a fan of red, and yellow on black may be a bit garish. Maybe a burnt orange to go with my natural red hair? :headbonk:

Give me your suggestions, guys. Maybe even pictures of your own little tweaks :D
I like the roush side scoops and hood scoop.

You are assuming the engine is 302.0000000000 which it is not. Anyway, crazy argument to have.

To the OP, agree with others, for the $ tints are the best mod followed by stripes, big visual impact for little out of pocket. Some sort of scoops or spoiler would be second, but those are more polarizing. Good luck, fantastic car!

Huh, I never even thought of getting tint! On a black car with some bright stripes it'd really make it stand out. Just all black and BAM.

Beautiful car P4RKER

Question, are your red pinstripes 1/2" wide? Goes perfect with the black stripes :)
