Oh man, that was so long ago. I want to say that the subframe was still dropped low enough that I was able to get around it. I'm 90% sure that was it.How did you get the tap in past the subframe? It isn't long enough. Did you use some kind of extension or?
If you're having the same problem, please take your time and go slowly. Might not be a bad idea to use some cutting fluid if you can get it in there, although it shouldn't be too bad since you're just cleaning up the threads. I know some other people on here have had the same problem, perhaps they have some additional advice.
