Hi all, I had a mate install my Kenwood 12" bass tube and 400wkenwood amp but we both agree it sounds very muddy and not very bassy. Power supply is all good etc but I feel it's something to do with picking up the signal from the rear speakers. Is this the right type of part

I have a similar LOC. In my case I had to crank the settings to the max on the converter to get adequate signal.

I installed a new amp with built in high to low pass filter its better but still not great. It make good bass down low volume but as you turn it up it dies off? wondering if the over processing in the head unit is killing it off?

thats bass roll off, to avoid that, tap into the front speaker signal

Ok I may give that a shot. Do you tap in before the factory amp or after?
