Hey guys,

Since Boss intakes are so cheap and easy to install, it got me thinking about if there's a tower brace out there that would clear the intake, yet still fit under the stock hood. I know you've got to modify the hood to make it clear the taller intake, but I haven't read anything about a tower brace. I assume the 2012-13 Boss brace wouldn't work on the S550.

Thanks guys!

Have 3.31 gears? I do and have been told I'd only like the intake if I had 3.73's cuz of the low end torque loss. I've wanted to run that intake for a while myself

That's a good point. I do have the 3.31s, but I'm considering a bump up to 3.55. I do a lot of freeway miles for work, so I don't want those 3.73s sucking too much gas.

Only reason I'd want to keep the 3.31s would be if I get a procharger at some point and I decide to focus on the Michigan Mile. I think the Boss intake with 3.31s would be a good choice for that mission. Maybe not as good as the Cobra Jet or GT350, but good enough for me and my price point.
