I recently purchased a 2022 GT Premium non-pp. I was looking to add the pp strut brace. American Muscle sells the kit with the cross member and the angle piece that attaches to the firewall(this replaces a plastic one that holds the edge of the battery box.) Come to find out that my car already has the angled steel firewall to struts piece. I am wondering why ?? Did Ford recently change this ?? Part of premium 401 package ?? All the pics and videos Ive seen of the non-pp cars have neither brace. Im very happy that its there and now only need the cross member...Really just curious about the nice surprise and why I have it ????

That makes sense. I just have never noticed it on any list of 401a package items. Very cool though

I too have a '22 GT Premium....I'm not certain that the passenger side brace on mine is metal...pretty sure it's plastic. Have to check that now.

I too am thinking of the GT350 strut brace from Ford. (Minor concern after reading about the studs snapping)
