I didn't want to thread jack cobra199711...

Focal 165AS3 3 way speakers up front
Focal 165AC Coax speakers in the rear deck
JL 10w3v3-2 Sub
Pioneer 900/5 Amp
PAC PDLC81 Digital Line Out Converter
Stinger 9 conductor Speedwire
Stinger 6000 2ch x 2
Custom sub box
Custom speaker plates

When I go to the track I just take out the sub box and save ~40lbs.
Do you mind elaborating a bit:

What is a "Pioneer 900/5", can't find that model number?
I assume your car came with the stock stereo system(400a), and running your fronts and rears from the head unit?

I have a few more questions but let's start there.

Thanks!

Sorry, it's a Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 amp. Not sure where I got Pioneer from. I have the 401 package and all speakers run off the Kenwood amp

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any pictures of your install, I am trying to figure out what I am going to do? I didn't want to spend the money on the 401a, figured I could install a better setup for $1800. I dynomatted my 05 Roush, used Boston Acoustics all the way around with 2 12's, and Alpine Digital amps. I didn't want to go that extend on this one.

How much of a improvement did you see once you were done?
Did you upgrade your battery or use a capacitor?
Did you install yourself?

I did not do the install myself - I loath wiring in cars. ;) Overall there was a huge improvement in sound quality and imaging. I just wish I had gone for more power across the board, but my budget was tapped and that will just have to wait.

There are a few install pics in this thread, but I didn't get that many...

Thanks for posting. I am not sure how the 400a integrates with the nav screen. Hoping it will be ok, but I have a feeling this is going to get expensive.
