Looking around at youtube vids, articles, reviews, etc... I see that stock Ecoboosts are getting a 0-60 around the mid 5 second range. 5.4-5.8 seems typical.
I can't get better than 6.4, stock. 93 octane in the tank. Now, mine is the base, not the performance package, so maybe that's why -- but a whole second? That seems a little much to lose. However, I'm still in the break-in period, too, so maybe that's it?
Definitely want to do the bama tune + air raid CAI, and maybe upgrade the intercooler -- but before I start all that, I want to know why I'm getting poor stock times and fix that. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Once fixed, then I will have a proper baseline to measure gains from modding.
