Go ahead, put them LTs and tune on..your gonna need it..lol. Think the stock turbo is staying on there for a few more months, then it's game on. Well, unless my Lightning ever goes away. That's when things get interesting for sure.

I'll let you know if I'm coming back down Friday. Keeping a close eye on the front due through on Thursday. Not sure how it will impact the rain chances yet.

I ain't scared...lol. It's all in good fun anyways, plus if I win, I beat a tuned/bolt on GT. if you win, you beat a tuned 4 cyl with a few bolt ons. Win-win either way for me... I used to have the same fun with my '87 GN, and it's all good. That car pissed a LOT of people off...drove them nuts to get beat by a v6 powered Regal. It also ran a best of 11.19 @ 120 at 21# boost, 7.18 @ 97 best 1/8. Damn thing would run 8.0's @ 92 on pump gas/hard tires. This was back in the '02-'03 time frame, so it was a nasty bish back then.

A tuned, force inducted heavy bolt in direct injected 4cyl.. Lol. I'll never be mad about a loss unless it's a drivers race.. Not a apples to oranges race lol.

But how about you get the tune or whatever squared away before you start doing call outs :LOL:

Nah, talking trash is fun..lol. Drivers races are the best ones....all in hitting your launch rpm right, then not missing a shift point. Been a long time since I laid a single digit RT down though...usually can pop off a .04-.07 if I pay attention. Just rusty as hell, plus still getting my technique down with the '15.

I was going out at break and do a log pull or two, but cops have been prowling the area around work...no way Jose. I'll try again in the morning on my way home. There are a couple of spots where I can do a good 3rd gear WOT run, then shut it down. Hopefully the bridge is deserted enough to do a run or two as well.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. I picked up some 275/40-17 NT05 DRs already mounted on older GT wheels....same setup I sold your buddy with the GT..lol. My 18s are getting thin, and these popped up locally..couldn't pass for the price. I'm going out to log a little more tonight...getting closer. Only issue I have now is my damn MMR expansion tank is leaking around the main hose fitting. I'm going to swap the ugly mutant bubble back on to stop that crap...lol.

First Sunday in January is a Funday Sunday @ OSW. They are doing T&T plus a swap meet. I'm planning on going...hoping to have the rest of the tuning done on E30, maybe work on a race gas tune. That way I can't screw up the ratio...lol.

Nope....think they got rained out anyway. I went to T&T last night and ran 12.3 @ 111. Hoping to go back in a week or two and try again for an 11 sec pass. Have a few other things to try and see if it picks up a few tenths.
