Is your car still a P1SC1 car?

If so man that is rare to have a trans issue with a small blower like that.
Frankly I don't know if I have heard of any till now. :(

Knock on wood, even with E85 D1SC/D1X cars I haven't had any issues.

Found a couple low mile 6R80s coming out of parted out 15-17 GTs. Guy on Facebook, he’s in Europe, saying that I should be careful because there are valve body differences between 6r80s and one of his friend lost the paddles function from putting another stock 6r80 into his car. Anyone know if this is true? I can see this maybe if you try to use an f150 or s197 6r80...but using another stock 15-17 6r80?? Can anyone confirm this?

Thinking of going this route because it’s a trusted friend of a friend. Trans are low mile and I can have the car back on the road next week

They will all work but you need a different bracket to use the F150 transmission. If you get an 11-14 you might need a 11-14 shift cable bracket to gain enough cable adjustment. The torque converter changed in 2015 but you should be able to use the converter from the older transmission. I would just get a circle D.

Shit happens, no biggie. I’ve been sending it hard the last few months. Broke giving a built 6gen SS with a D1sc (800whp) the sauce.

I’m told it’s a low mile 15-17. Lund says just swap it, nothing needed. I’ll keep mine and gather parts to build it later. Not planning on adding more power, just take a little weight off.
