Damn Ford is pissing me off. They just won't let people get their hands on the V6. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that they don't want people driving the V6 too soon to post/tell how great it is. Buy an Ecoboost instead... My current daily driver is falling apart and I need my car asap. Thanks a lot Ford.

I wouldn't worry too much. No one has their cars yet. Looking at the ordered dealer inventory for my area it is a pile of V6's, a few abnormally optioned ecoboosts, and a number of GT's. There will be plenty of them out there soon enough.

VIN and build date for 2015 V-6 with automatic transmission issued yesterday. My build week is posted as 10/26/2104. I placed my order on June 12th at Long Lewis Ford in Hoover, Alabama. I am a very happy Mustang lover.

because most people are going for the EB and GT, so if there are constraints it falls on the least popular model

You should look up nearby dealerships, I can swear youll find one

You won't find one. Ford hasn't shipped one. The manual V6 has been on hold since day 1.

Called my dealer and they got my VIN yesterday and a build date of week 43 (nov. 10)... How is that possible with the V6 manuals still listed in red with no OKTB ? Not that I'm not happy (I have my VIN in hand with prod. date) but I find it weird none the less...

You are correct. There are 300 V6 manuals for sale on AutoTrader across the US. Which means that the charts shown with the writing in red about no 3.7 with manuals sold is a bunch of bull. Don't believe everything you read on internet, even when it seems to come from Ford.

on 10/9 both were ...
"IN PRODUCTION"

Just checked them today (10/18) and both are now ...
"AWAITING SHIPMENT" with estimated deliveries of 11/01 & 11/02.

So, here is two examples that makes it look like V6 MT is off production hold now.

Just got my order upgraded (10/20) to "In Production. I cannot get the window sticker to load yet, but it seems to be trying. I will keep the V6 forum informed of further progress.

No 2015 Mustang V6 Convertible news yet regardless of whether you ordered Manual or Automatic Transmission. First Retail Orders supposed to be pulled with VIN assignment beginning next Thur Oct 30th. Guess we will have to wait and see.
