HI All,
Twice in the last week I've noticed that the clutch pedal stays down. If I'm sitting in traffic for about 2-3 minutes with the clutch down then when I go to release it, it comes up 2-3cm and that's it. I can put my foot behind it and pull it up and then it seems to have normal travel.
I also think the clutch pedal "feels" different now.
Sorry to be so vague on symptoms......any thoughts anyone?
Richard

Why sit in traffic with the clutch down for 2-3 minutes???
Neutral and let it go! The less time the clutch spends down, the longer it will live - That's what I was taught anyway

I saw a few posts in the US section (I think). See if you can find it for an answer.

Agree with Erez re sitting for long periods with the clutch engaged. I'd be heading straight to the dealer with your problem assuming you still have a warranty.

Something similar happened to me soon after I took delivery. I was accidentally in 3rd stopped at the lights and the clutch stuck down (which distracted my attention from figuring out I was in the wrong gear). The clutch proceeded to slowly release (no foot on it at this point) while I was reving, the car moved off slowly until fully released. My thought at the time was 'wow anti-stall auto clutch, wtf'. Lol

Never happened again, however I've never taken off in 3rd since.
