My wife & I have just placed a deposit on a Mustang GT, Oxford White in manual.
This will be my wife's daily driver, with me enjoying it on the weekends.
My query or concern after reading a few posts from USA owners is that the clutch travel and steering combo are causing issues for vertically challenged drivers. My wife is 5'3'' and I am 6'.
Some owners are using a clutch extender as a fix, but given that I will be driving as well, I am starting to think that getting an auto transmission may suit us better.
Any Australian owners having issues with the clutch pedal?

New Yawker here. I am 6'2"and I put on the clutch pedal extender. It enabled me to sit back a little further and in a much better driving position. It's all good.

Hello New Yawker
So with my wife being 5'2" it will be interesting with her having to use that clutch pedal without an extender.
Many thanks for you input.

At 5' 2" you will find a bit of an issue with the passenger side mirror not being able to tilt in far enough, but I have had someone that height drive mine and they didn't have any trouble getting into a comfortable position to reach the pedals and wheel. All depends on how you sit I guess, some people like to sit upright others like to sit reclined right back.
