So... I was parked, with accessory power on, listening to the radio at low-moderate volume.

I started the car, and once it was running, the radio didn't kick back in.

Pressing the Radio input did nothing. Phone and Media did nothing either.

Pressing the stereo Power button, then pressing Radio, also did nothing.

The display isn't blank, it still shows time and temperature (same as when the stereo was turned off normally.)

This is a base V6 with factory radio.

Has anyone else had this?

turn off your car, phone, wait 10 minutes and turn your car back on.

Yeah this happened to me. Seems to be a fluke, just restart the car.

Thanks folks.

I tried three or four restarts within 10 minutes with no joy.

I left the car for two hours, and it worked again.

I hope it's just a bug/crash (software) and not a weak/failing part (hardware.)

Maybe there is a problem with the wiring?

Yup...they do that. I had my stereo replaced, and it still does it. AND it defaults to AM/FM radio on startup. Fun stuff.
