Steering rack programming

Hi!
I got a 2019 gt mustang. I been dealing with the rattling nois from the steering rack so i bought a new rack and pinion. The thing is that the rack & pinion that i bought isn't the part number for my car. It's said that is for a s550 2015-2023 but for what i been told is not the specific part number for my car.
My question is if i can install this steering rack and have it programmed for my car? Is this possible or i need to buy the specific steering rack part number for my car.
I been reading some threads in here but haven't been able to find an answer.
I will appreciate any help.

I believe you can reprogram it. I'm about to replace mine as well due to some low speed clunking it causes. Requres ForScan.

Hi there. That's what i think. What's happening is that i bought a steering rack that is a different part number that the one my car need. Even though is a new Ford part, for some reason is not taking the programming. 3 different technicians try already. 2 that are independent and 1 from Ford dealer.
For the record i live in Puerto Rico.
I found a steering rack that is my car part number compatible, but is $2,300. So I'm trying to make the one that i got already work if is possible.
I got the same problem you got and so you know the clunking will go away with the new rack.
