So I have a basic understanding of linear vs. progressive springs, but to simplify it a bit for me: if I've got a GTPP car (a convertible in fact), and I'm looking mostly for a change in the ride height without comprising the comfort, but definitely not lowering reducing the handling and especially the "feel" - what's my best option?

DarkSubRosa Very nice build man, and a great totally different direction with the design choices.

Thanks! I'm sort of at a fork in the road cosmetic wise on the car. I can't decide which direction I want to go.

As far as the springs go, David correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say you probably want the progressive springs as they will provide more comfort but still perform well and give the car a nice stance.

I had them on my car (GT PP, stock wheels), but I didn't care for the drop they gave-the front still appeared higher than the rear. I don't have any good pictures though, as I didn't have the springs on very long. I ended up going with Eibach Sportlines and couldn't be happier-I love the drop and the handling and ride quality are great!

I believe if you are looking to maintain or even improve comfort then I believe progressive is what you are looking for.

That's why I only bought the front springs. Unfortunately, I have been away from home so I don't have them installed yet.
