Steeda Progressive Spring review

Anyone knows what size strut rod nut socket is needed for stock struts on PP cars !

Editing to be sure. My primary nut is 21mm and the actual strut was 10mm. - Need a 21mm strut nut socket to tighten (has a hole to stabilize the 10mm)

Be careful on the little 10 mm. Some have sheared that thing off. Also, it' seems a bit like like brass, very soft. Highly recommend a 6 pt (not 12) box end of combo. Not sure if it's exactly 10. Seems to be a bit smaller.

Good advice. I snapped one off completely.....be soft metal.

Gonna have to by some new struts or coil overs

Sport linear: 1 inch drop all around, 20% stiffer than PP springs
Ultralite linear: 1.125" drop in front, 1" out back, 20% stiffer than PP springs, lighter than the Sport linears

That wrap is sick! I would love to do it to mine.

Maybe it's just the lighting or photoshop but the second picture looks gorgeous and purple!

Lots of customers will be pairing our progressives with the Konis from what I'm hearing!

Is that a wrap on your car? It looks like a matt color. How hard is it to maintain the vinyl? How do you wax the car, or is no waxing required?

It's a perfect pairing! I've had the Steeda Progressive springs on the car for about a year now. While they aren't that bad with the stock PP dampers, I thought they were just a bit bouncy. I don't mean bumpy like harsh ride, just the opposite, I think they were a bit too soft making the ride all spring. I bought the Konis from Steeda and glad I did. I had questions that as usual, Steeda did a great job of answering. I talked to one of their suspension experts.

I got one of the first sets of Konis and put them on right away. I love them with the Steeda Progressive springs. The adjustment of the Konis gives you whatever you want over the 2.5 full turns of adjustment. I started out with them near full firm, while that was fun for cornering, after a couple days I decided to soften it up, it was a bit too firm (bumpy). So I could experience the range, I loosened them up to full soft. They were as soft as the PP dampers but a bit better at absorbing the compressions and rebounds. After a few days with that, I adjusted them to 1 full turn from soft toward firm and have been VERY happy with the ride.
