I figured I would create this thread to provide my feedback after having all of their suspension components installed over 30 days ago.

The parts list is on the first post of my build thread linked in my signature.

I am beyond please with everything that Jamie did for the installation and alignment. David was an absolute pleasure to deal with in buying and setting up the appointment for me. Everyone at Steeda has been a joy.

The car has been completely transformed. The ride quality with the progressive springs is 3 times better vs. the stock GTPP springs.

The handling of the car is just perfect. It is so, so flat now when pushing the car hard in any type of turn. Brake dive has been greatly reduced. I would say by 80-90%. I can mash the brake pedal and it just stops, so tried and true. The front-end barely dives at all. This is from 70-75mph and just mashing the pedal. It truly begs for more speed when entering turns. Of course, this only on roads and not a race track or autoX course.

Wheel hop has been greatly reduced. I still have a couple more parts to order to virtually eliminate it all together and those will be ordered at a later date. Shifting hard to 2nd gear, I just now get wheel spin and no hop. Only time I get a little hop is via a hard launch. But again, it is greatly reduced and doesn't happen all the time.

The car is so quiet, no increase in NVH in anyway. This has been some of the best money I have ever spent on any car mods, PERIOD.

Their parts deliver what they promise and produce outstanding results.

Anyone on the fence, I highly recommend you go ahead and purchase their "stuff".

I am in no way sponsored by Steeda AT ALL and likely never will be. LOL.....

This is just a good old honest review of their parts. Thought it was time since there has been a large influx of new S550 owners who are likely looking to upgrade their suspension bits and pieces.

Todd your feed back on your mods is why I went with the Steeda progressive springs. I had been waiting on the BMR springs to come out, but you convinced me to go with Steeda. You have been right on the money with your suggestions and your reviews of the parts. I will be ordering the Steeda sway bars next hopefully before Mustang Week. Thanks again for your feedback and David @ Steeda.

Great to hear! Glad you have agreed with my feedback. I get worried sometimes sharing info and making recommendations as these things can also be very subjective. I am not a racer of any sorts at any level. Never have been, never will be:D. I do know what I like for my car and how I want it to feel and handle however.

I was also waiting for BMR and their springs. Once I read that 5-6 people had the Steeda parts installed and talked with them vial PM, I was sold.

I then sent David a ton of PM's and emails asking more questions. I like what was shared and bought their stuff:headbang::D.

Sorry man:D:frusty:. They really do have a great setup. I take people for rides in the car after the suspension work was completed. About 3 to be exact. On this one backroad, I can scare the shit out of them. Literally. They get a little excited and start to scream a bit...the stuff truly delivers.

If contemplating the full "Steeda package" incl. springs and various suspension tuning bits, can you offer a budget bogey number in dollars to expect spending? I mean can most everything be done for under $1,000 dollars? Or how much is needed ? what neighborhood

Here is a link to their suspension packages as bundled packages.

http://www.steeda.com/2015-suspension-packages/

Your parts cost will range between $1000-$1500 to get just about their max setup. This really transforms the handling and ride of the car. Depends on how extreme you want to go.

Springs and sway bars is just a tick over $600. You can go up from there.

They do offer forum discounts, too. If you really want to spend the $1500-$1600 in one purchase, PM David@Steeda on the forum here. He will hook you up with a nice deal. He is great to work with, straight shooter and no BS.

Update - Tail of the Dragon run yesterday, July 12, 2015.

Took my car to the Tail of the Dragon and Skyway yesterday with the local AtlantaS550 club.

We were gone for about 13.5hrs yesterday. Total of 8h and 21minutes of driving and 357 miles total.

The suspension components installed all worked perfectly yesteday. No NVH, amazing handling, very flat cornering and super quick turn-in on those hairpin turns. Total control under hard braking, no wandering frontend, etc. This car is the perfect aggressive/passive car. It can be an animal in the turns and a grand tourer. No back issues while riding in the car that long over all these crazy ass twisty roads, etc. This trip just solidified my purchase and Steeda as a vendor even more as the car was put through its paces yesterday for a long, long time.

I had no issues running up on other GTPP cars that were in front of me in any type of turn/curve etc. The ability to get on the gas earlier in the corner was a great feeling. The front placement was so very, very precise.

I will push the car harder the next time we head up which will be in the fall. If I lived within 30 minutes of this place, I would have an annual tire bill of $5000 as I would be up there every other day. The adrenaline rush is off the chart!
