I order steeda springs, sway bars, and billet mounts. Everything is here, and I'm scheduled to get the install done next week. I was just out in the garage getting everything in order, and I noticed the same part number on both sway bar mount boxes (555-8147) labeled 1-1/8" (rear). The front is listed as 555-8148 on steeda's website (1-3/8").

So, are the front/rear brackets the same other than the bushings? The bushings taped to the sway bar fit in the billet brackets, but the included brackets (taped to the sway bar) aren't a perfect fit to the billet brackets. I don't have a lift so I can't climb under the car and check fitment.

Thanks in advance..

What do you mean the billet brackets aren't a perfect fit to the brackets taped to the sway bar? Bolt holes? If so, I'd say the front billet ones are supposed to be different to the ones you got. I imagine the exterior bushing dimensions are the same for front and rear, but if the bolt holes don't line up, they won't fit.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure they sell front and rear as different items so I'd say they are different, otherwise they would likely list them as front or rear fitment.

The outer dimensions seem to be the same, but the bolt holes (slots actually) don't perfectly line up. I sent an email to steeda. No response yet, but it was late on a fri. I'm pretty sure I got the wrong parts... Thanks for the help

It seems kind of funny that the holes are slotted and exterior dimensions are the same, bushing fit is the same, but slots are different for front and rear. Unless the bolts are totally different sizes and / or totally different spacings.

Pretty sure you got the wrong one and will need it replaced, but yeh, talk to the supplier.
