My Outlaw spoiler came in today! Unfortunately I was traveling this week and did not return home until after business hours this evening. The shop I am using is only open weekdays, so it will be next week before it is painted and installed. Of course, I'll post up pics once the deed is done. Then I'll be off to BigWormGraphix (David's shop is only about 5 miles from me) to get the stripes installed.

I'm waiting impatiently for your install pics, can't wait to see this on a DIB car. Seriously considering this mod.

BTW what stripes are you going with? I"ve been eying the Super snake stripes for some time.

Dropped the spoiler off at the body shop this morning for paint; will likely be installed on Wednesday.

I was set on the Super Snake stripes, but after spending some time at Big Worm looking at actual samples on the car I couldn't find a color that worked for me on the DIB for such a wide stripe. I love the contrast of white against the blue, but it would not have been nearly aggressive enough. Also, it would likely have clashed with the anthracite finish on the Targas. Ultimately I decided on the GT350 style stripes in matte charcoal with matte white pinstripes. It's gonna be HOT! Provided I get the spoiler mounted Wednesday, I should have the stripes on Thursday or Friday. (Don't worry, I'll get pics as soon as the spoiler is mounted rather than keeping you in suspense.)

I was just curious. I have been married for 5 years and my wife tells me all the time how happy she is and I don't ask for her approval to buy car parts or make any purchases. I guess I am just a very responsible individual.

Seriously, I am very happy you are doing your convertible. I cannot wait to see what it will look like from various angles and distances.

Is it the same part 3 for convertible? Let us know if any mounting differences or tweaks are needed?
