Status on the CDC wing??

For sure. All you do in that case is drill. But for those of us with the factory spoiler...we need something that covers/uses the factory holes so there aren't holes showing. That's why we can't use the Roush wing.

I got a call back from Bob at CDC this morning. They are still finalizing the wing and they expect to have it (and pricing) the ,
'first week of April'. So I guess a bit of a slip from April 1st. This is designed for the coop specifically. * It will only come raw, meaning unprimed.
*According to Bob, the convertible trunk is curved a little differently. They are looking to see if this wing can be adapted to fit on a convertible or if the convertible would need a completely redesigned wing. so for now no timeline on a wing for convertibles. All he could say was ... to be determined.
So it sounds like you coupe folks will be good to go in a couple of weeks.

Painting
I wonder if it would be worth the bother maybe it might be a cost savings, to find a known or to be determined paint shop that buyers of the wing could ship their raw wing to this body shop. Then when they get 'x' number of wings for a given color they shoot them together, then ship them out to the individual customers.
Just a thought.

There is a picture of a black 2015 convertible on their website with one installed (although it doesn't look the same). Craig told me that it will fit both coupe and convertible?

Hello Lee,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the rear spoiler. I did get your voice mail. It came to light recently that the rear dimensions of the 2015 convertible are slightly different. As a result of this, the rear spoiler we will be introducing shortly will initially fit the couple only. The spoiler you saw on the convertible we had at SEMA (which is also the one you’ve seen in photos) was made from fiberglass and is a prototype. We will have a version of the spoiler that will fit the convertible in the very near future. As soon as we have more information on availability, we will release it. As with any new product launch, there are bound to be a few snags but we will get them ironed out.

Finally getting my car in a couple of days and would love to know about the CDC wing. I haven't had the chance to contact them as I've been really busy with work n stuff so hoping they will update us on here- like with better pics and pricing

I have contacted cdc, they forwarded me to RPI designs which might be able to offer them prepainted.
I got in touch with rpi designs about a possible group buy discount, or maybe just if we can get like 10 orders and get them to offer painting on those confirmed orders.

RPI got in touch with CDC. looks like april 1st won't work, looking to be released more like april 8th. they said if the spoiler requires a lot of prep they won't be able to offer it painted, as they have 6 painters in 6 booths full time painting their stuff, BUT if it doesn't require much prep they could offer them painted. CDC won't give pricing but RPI is sure we could get a group buy discount. he told me to touch base with him after april 8th.
