Starting 2019 A10 Whipple build

I am finally ready to put the charger on my car after having it for a couple of months now as well as install the oil pump gears. After some hard thinking I went back and ordered the larger heat exchanger living in the south.

Mine shipped Monday finally. OPG's and CS will be here Thursday...Plan on doing those in the next couple of weeks then the Whipple will go on shortly after. Will also be doing a return fuel system at the same time.

Please update this thread when you get the oil pump gears installed. I'll be doing the gears myself as well. I've spoken to a person that's done it on a 2018+ and removing all of the bolts off of the pan is enough to get the clearance necessary to get the oil pickup tube out of the pump, so the pump can be removed. I'm hoping your R&R is the same. Before I got further info about what needs to be done, I was looking at worst case scenario of lowering the K member to get the oil pan low enough.

Your person is right. Drop the whole pan, and you'll be good to go.

Remove the battery and the plate so you can get to entire valve cover bolts easily. Also remove radiator. Undo all oil pan bolts from under the car. This includes the front bolts
