My 2015 Ecoboost Mustang has been trouble-free since I bought it in May of last year. One thing that I've noticed is kind of odd. The starter button clicks and pops on its own. I had a hard time sourcing this sound until one day as I was barely starting to touch the start button to fire up the car I felt the button pop. Now its a random thing and only once in a while and not loud. With the stereo on I can't hear it. I saw the video for the GT350 starter button install and yikes! Do I want the dealer taking my dash apart to replace the button for a minor issue like this? Uh, no. I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen.

That is strange ... maybe one of the tabs is broken off and it's shifting around? What if you push it down harder when the FOB isn't in the car (so power doesn't come on or the engine starts). Maybe it needs to be seated down in the tabs better?

Wow that video is crazy-simple compared to the Ford version. I have tried pushing the button down with the fob far away inside the house. It didn't give, and isn't loose. Like I mentioned its just a click now and then, with the stereo on I won't even hear it. It's just kind of silly, a button doing that.
