Hi everyone...sorry if this topic has been covered in a previous thread but I couldn't find it when I searched. I know the GT with PP comes with staggered wheel/tire set up front and back. I have same setup on my BMW, also with Pirelli P Zero rubber. Because these tires can't be rotated, I am only getting around 10k miles life on these, so am replacing tires once per year...should I expect same for the Mustang set up? It ends up being a very expensive thing...thx.

10-12,000 is about right. The tires are only rated for 15k at best which wont happen since you can't rotate.

Looks like my rear tires are pretty well shot at around 10k. OEM GT PP.

Fronts only look about 1/2 shot. Is it normal to be able to use the same front set for 2 sets of rear tires ?

I'm not a smoke em burn out person but am a bit throttle happy.

Am going to replace the oem's with something that will at least put me in the 20-30k lifespan range, any consensus out there on a best bet ?

I would do the same. Changing the tires will help, the pirelli's don't last that long and you can find something that will last longer for a lower cost.

My GT/PP is pretty new (just over 500mi) but I am already planning on a swap. Living in Iowa we get that pesky crap - snow. So will most likley put a good All-Season on come fall, ran Cooper Zeon RS3-A's on my Taurus SHO. Whats the community opinion on Perf AS tires?

You'll hear these 3 quoted quite a bit for all-seasons. Lowest to highest priced.

BFG G-Force Comp-2 A/S
Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3

rule of thumb you switch the rears twice before you change the fronts, thats how RWD staggered setups are.

Two things to note:
Tire manufacturers don't warranty OEM tires. Ford might, but Pirelli doesn't honor warranty on OEM tires.
And, some tire companies offer 1/2 mileage for staggered setups. Some won't offer any mileage warranty on tires used in staggered applications.

true but then you have Hankook with their standard warranty which is awesome.

Roush550 is running general gmax all seasons and is in the 10's on them at the drag strip with a roush phase 1.
