I thought I read another post where someone on here was having the same issue, however, I can not locate it for the life of me.

Basically, every morning I toggle to Sport Mode and drive away - this morning I notice (A) normal and sport mode are the exact same feeling (b) my Corsa Extreme's are a little less obnoxious. Something is definitely not working right.

Anyone else experience this and have a fix or is my first visit to the dealership to try and fix?

This is my daily driver so I drive 100% of the time in Sport Mode and today its like driving a different car.

Any help is appreciated.

Sport mode really does nothing but sharpen the throttle response and add weight to the steering wheel.
It doe's not change engine tune or anything.

It loosens up the traction control also. There is a marked difference in the way the car feels with the better throttle response. You should be able to tell the difference.

It also changes the way it shifts... holds the gears longer and downshifts more when you brake. I luv it :)

So the actual question is: Is it staying in sports mode or normal mode?

None of you guys answered his question. He knows the difference between Sport and Normal but feels that its broken. Not sure maybe you should bring it in to a dealership and have it checked. I always feel the difference in Sport compared to Normal mode. Maybe you have been immuned by driving everyday in Sport. I know I switch between Normal and Sport so I don't get bored driving my stock car for now.

You can try disconnecting the battery. Seems that's a fix fix for most electronics these days.

Wouldn't that be funny if there was some kind of hidden "you can only use Sport+ mode for up to X hours in a given range of time" limiter?

Yes, the throttle response is noticeable different when driving in Sport vs. Normal - this was the whole basis for my inquiry. This is my DD so I know the car pretty well. Nothing is changing (throttle responsiveness) between Normal and Sport. I may just disconnect the battery for what its worth and see how it acts tomorrow morning on my way to work.

Actually I did read your post to which I asked does it feel like it's stuck in sport mode or normal mode? You indicated the car feels no different between the two so which "way" does it feel, normal or sport?

I shall venture the following answer: normal. As in, it is not switching into Sport+ mode, at least that's how it feels to the OP.

is it showing the change of modes on the screen like normal then just does nothing, or is the switch itself dead?

Were you trying to get into sport mode when going in reverse, I don't believe the car will allow it.

I read your post also. I just didn't have an answer. Have you put it in track mode or snow/wet to see if there is a difference? If not, I'd take it to the dealer.
